All items listed above are guaranteed against defective workmanship and/or defective materials starting from the installation completion date and the final balance being paid in full. Sealed glass units are guaranteed against moisture penetration into the hermetically sealed unit cavity. Over spec glass is any unit that is over 3.6m2 (1800mm x 1800mm) therefore will not carry a guarantee.

As per the Company’s conditions of sale, this guarantee does not apply to minor imperfections in glass or prevention or elimination of condensation (subject to the discretion of glass manufacture and glass and glazing federation quality of vision standards). Any glass unit fitted into any pre-existing frame has a 12-month guarantee. Electrical goods, cement pointing, paving steps, plastering, and floor coverings (e.g. flooring, skirting boards etc.) supplied and installed by Global Windows are only covered for 12 months from the date of installation.

Any products not listed above may carry a manufacturer’s warranty or guarantee. If you require more details or further clarification, please let us know. It is the customer’s duty to report any failure of products immediately to the company within 14 days of the product failing.

The following exclusions apply to the Guarantee;

This Guarantee does not cover any accidental damage, neglect, breakages, blockages, wear and tear, storm damage, and misuse of products.
The Company does not guarantee that condensation, if any, can be eliminated or reduced by the installation of our products. Both double and triple glazing are designed primarily to reduce the heat loss which occurs through single glazing. The fitting of double/triple glazing products will not in itself eliminate condensation. This is dependent upon the environment within each individual dwelling which the company is not liable for. Please refer to the GGF Condensation brochure for more details (available upon request).
This guarantee does not cover oxidation on leaded glass. Oxidation is a natural process that affects the appearance of lead when exposed to different environmental conditions.
This guarantee does not cover black mould caused by internal condensation. The company is not liable for the internal environment of any room.
This Guarantee does not cover any problems associated with environmental conditions that the company doesn’t have any control over such as acid rain, extreme UV exposure, and subsidence/settlement, etc.
This Guarantee does not cover any problems associated with the penetration of insects, misting, and mould growth.
This Guarantee does not cover any problem in the event the Customer fails to adequately maintain the products
This Guarantee does not cover and cracks or faults to plastering due to settlement
Any minor defects in glass units (as per the GGF glazing guidelines)
Kolorplas sprayed items that are not virgin PVC or polyester powder coated
The Company reserves the right to exclude its product if they have been installed by others or moved from their original location.
This Guarantee does not cover emergency call outs, locksmith or any other emergency call-out fees/costs the customer may incur.

The choice of whether materials are either repaired or replaced is at the sole discretion of the Company. This Guarantee is transferable but company procedure must be followed. Please see the conditions of sale and the transfer of guarantee document for further details. Charges apply.

Your Guarantee should be retained and kept in a safe place after installation for future reference.

New Window and Window Swap

Had Global swap an existing window for a new bi-fold door and install a completely new window in our dining room. As hoped, both have created a lot of addition light. I have used Global in the past and would use again in the future. Professional service provided from the office staff. They were the only business I spoke to that was aware of the new building control regulations that were introduced at the start of October last year and therefore acted as Principal Designer keeping the works compliant.
