Dronfield Town Football Club is a grassroots club, powered by a strong community spirit that Dronfield is renowned for. At Global Windows, it’s a local cause that’s very close to our hearts so we wanted to share our latest news about them with you.
Dronfield FC is admirably run and administered by many volunteers through charitable donations. Carefully considering how much of their spare time must be taken up with keeping the beautiful game alive, we thought it only right for the Global Windows Team to give something back.
Everyone deserves high-quality windows, doors and conservatories and the good people of Dronfield are no different! So, we showed our loyalty by installing these attractive advertising units at the Dronfield FC ticket office completely free of charge:

Who are Dronfield Football Club?
Ideally nestled between Chesterfield and Sheffield, take a quick journey down the A61 and you’ll soon find yourself in one of the UK’s most desirable places to live; the north-east Derbyshire town of Dronfield.
Just 3 miles west of the beautiful Peak District National Park, Dronfield FC are currently 14th place in the North East Counties League. Coordinating over 35 teams involving well over 550 footballers, the clubs’ history is thought to date back as early as 1860! And after a handful of false starts since their humble beginnings, we’re very happy to report that they’ve gone from strength to strength over the past two decades.
Run and administered by many volunteers, the Dronfield FC team work extremely hard to entertain so many people in and around Dronfield and right across the Northern Counties.
With a strong presence in the region, Dronfield homeowners have even more to smile about now!
With many free entry games and events planned throughout the year, there really is something for the whole family to enjoy. Personally, we’re really looking forward to the popular Three Valleys Beer Festival to be held in Dronfield on Saturday 2nd June.
