Mr and Mrs Marshall from Harwell in Doncaster bought a bungalow in need of some tender loving care in November 2012 as a major renovation project to create the perfect family home.
The couple, took the roof off and knocked down most internal walls – totally transforming and rebuilding the first floor to create spacious living areas.
With all major building works underway, the couple’s attention turned to doors and windows. The Marshall’s contacted Global Windows after they were recommended by a family member.
The couple gave the Global team the bespoke brief to work to. The windows and doors fitted had to all be tailor made to a specific design.
Global jumped at the chance to work on such a unique project and the finished article is completely stunning.
Mrs Marshall explains:
“We contacted Global after we had heard lots of good reviews. Russell was our main contact and guided us through every step of the way, advising us on areas we weren’t 100% sure of and we couldn’t be happier with the finished result.”
As part of the large scale project, Global created and fitted three sets of French doors and nine bespoke windows for the ground floor alongside two sets of picture windows & doors and five windows for the first floor.

“The double glazed products we provided were all tailor made in dark grey on the outside and in white PVCu on the inside for a fresher look.
The Picture windows and doors were extra special as the frames were fitted into shaped brick work giving the property a designer look and feel.”
