School’s out for summer! And you know what that means; time to find some fun activities to entertain the whole family throughout the holidays. Or maybe you’re staying with relatives here over the Summer and need some inspiration. We completely understand that you’re busy, so here’s 5 great things to do in Sheffield this summer.
1.Alpaca trekking
Currently rated as the number one activity to do in Sheffield on Tripadvisor, Holly Hagg on Long Lane offers a great alternative to the typical summer tourist attractions. With six cute alpacas to make friends with, choose your favourite and head out on a fun-filled trek through the picturesque Sheffield countryside – don’t forget the suntan lotion though! With a Family Hour planned in August and Open Day coming up in September, this is definitely a must for nature lovers looking for something a bit different to do this summer, whilst supporting a local charity in the process.
2.Tread the boards
Did you know that Sheffield Theatres boasts the largest theatre complex outside of London? Spread across three charming auditoriums, – Crucible Theatre, Lyceum Theatre and Crucible Studio in Norfolk Street – they offer a diverse programme of work to discover. With theatrical Summer School to occupy the kids & teenagers at the Crucible or musical extravaganzas like Rock of Ages to take in at the Lyceum, there really is something to satisfy everyone.
3.Memorable views

4.The Great Escape
