PVC-u Tilt and Turn windows operating in such a way that you can turn the handle once which allows the top to open slightly to let air in; turn the handle again and the window will open fully inward allowing easy access for cleaning all upstairs windows. All upstairs windows are fitted and designed with easy clean and fire escape facilities as standard (subject to final design). Tilt and Turn windows offer many benefits including;

Window Specification
•Frames - all frames will be manufactured from the Legend 70 BBA windows energy rating certificate number 11/B140 A rated sculptured system as standard. All windows are internally glazed with "Ogee" beads with hidden co-extruded gaskets. All frames are reinforced in accordance with the system supplier's recommendations.
•"Ogee" sashes will operate on stainless steel friction stays and incorporate GU high security espagnolette gear with mushroom cam bolts with corner shoot bolts. Handles are auto-lock with key locking facility and are available in white, gold, polished chrome and bronze finishes.
•Glazing will be by means of 28mm Pilkington Planitherm A rated sealed units and include toughened safety glazing where required. A range of obscure glass is available at no extra charge.
•Planitherm is a new generation of energy saving window glass and the most energy efficient available. Its advanced coating technology reflects radiated heat back into the room, rather than allowing it to escape through the windows, whilst allowing free heat and light from the sun to pass through the glass.
The result? - Lighter, brighter, warmer and more energy efficient homes thanks to the advanced thermal insulation of Planitherm which is three times more efficient than single glazed units and at least 25% better than most currently installed double glazing.
