How do I choose a reputable window provider?

There are a few things that you can check to ensure that the company you are looking to use is a reputable provider.
Firstly ask if they are a member of any governing bodies within the industry e.g. are they Certass or FENSA registered? Do they provide an Insurance Backed Guarantee through the Consumer Protection Agency (CPA) or Double Glazing Conservatory Ombudsman Scheme (DGCOS)?

At Global Windows we have become known as a reputable provider not only for the points I have made above, but also because we are a local company. We manufacture our products in our factory outlet right here in South Yorkshire so we know they are of the highest quality; that means we are confident in the products we provide to our customers.
The most crucial factor, we would say, is see if you can speak to people who have had work done by this company. Speak to friends and family if they have had any work done recently. Testimonials from people you trust are usually a very good indicator of if the company is reputable or not; people would not recommend a provider they have had issues with.

Peer to Peer recommendations in the window and conservatory business are king; this is one of the reasons that we invite our own customers to comment on the work we have done for them on our Facebook Page. We post pictures of the work we have carried out and ask our customers to leave a comment.
This shows the level of pride and dedication that we take in our work as we believe that it is important for people to see work we have carried out and give them the chance to speak to real people who have used our services. It is the true test of a reputable company as we are inviting our own customers to give their opinions on the work we have done, where it is visible for everyone to see.
