Composite Doors
Composite doors provide a great combination of traditional style and modern benefits. All of the composite doors manufactured, supplied and installed by Global Windows have a polyurethane thermally insulated core coated in a modern outer GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester) exterior. This ensures that you have the security of a traditional solid wood door with the easy maintenance and energy efficiency that comes with PVC-u technology.

Door Specification
•Frames - all frames will be manufactured from the Legend 70 BBA windows energy rating certificate number 11/B140 A rated sculptured system. All doors are internally glazed with "Ogee" beads with hidden co-extruded gaskets. All frames are reinforced in accordance with the system suppliers recommendations.
•Sashes will operate on a minimum of 3no. high security flag hinges per sash and incorporate high security Sold Secure approved lock mechanism with centre mortice dead-bolt, 2no. steel hooks and 2no. mushroom cams . Handles are lever/lever and are available in white, gold, polished chrome and bronze finishes.
•Glazing will be by means of 28mm Planitherm argon filled A rated toughened safety glazing or insulated infill panels to required design.
•Planitherm is a new generation of energy saving window glass and the most energy efficient available. Its advanced coating technology reflects radiated heat back into the room, rather than allowing it to escape through the windows, whilst allowing free heat and light from the sun to pass through the glass.
The result? - Lighter, brighter, warmer and more energy efficient homes thanks to the advanced thermal insulation of Planitherm which is three times more efficient than single glazed units and at least 25% better than most currently installed double glazing.
